Collections

Materials pertaining to the work of the Academy, its members and staff, prominent 19th- and 20th-century natural scientists and organizations closely associated with the Academy since its founding in 1812. Included are records of the administration, scientific departments and museum; correspondence, field notes, diaries, and journals of individuals, film and photograph collections related to the activities of the Academy and staff; and collections of 19th- and 20th-century natural history illustrations.
